I just finished banner 7 of 12 at work and, since I'm holed up in this supply room all day, Matt made me a sign that reads "Elizabeth Cameron's Temporary Work Space: Please Knock Before Entering." Which seemed nice and funny until he shot a rubber band at me when I walked by later.

It's all pretty straightforward and businesslike, but I did a couple of things for work lately design/layout-wise. I'm working on two poster boards right now too, but I'm not done with those yet.
I'm assuming you've all seen me with my new iPhone below. However, I left out the details of my acquisition and this morning I feel like telling my story.
Adam took the day off work last Friday and I got done a little early, so we went to the AT&T on OBT around 3:30. We ended up being numbers 10 and 11 in our line and waited only 2.5 hours in all. Not bad when you consider the schmucks who sat through heat and rain for the full week.
I'll try to keep this short...
I just thought you might like to know that Iron & Wine released two singles today on iTunes.
I forgot to post this before. Last week I took care of a side project for Adam's graphics business. He has one particular repeat client who is really nice and easy to work with. He's actually the guy I did the DVD designs for in the past. Anyway, he sent over a blank book image from iStockphoto and also JPEGs of the cover design for his book. I skewed the images until they matched up to the blank book and also made him a web badge to advertise it. You can see them here and here. Also, Adam made him a site for his new project here. (Update: Links no longer exist.)
Thinking I might finally be able to afford renters insurance (and in light of my bike theft last year), I went on the hunt for a quote.
I just took a quiz on MSNBC about hit songs/bands in 1967 and sadly, I got only 7 of 15 correct. But then I decided to reacquaint myself with some of the bands in the quiz, because I couldn't remember, for example, what The Yardbirds sang. And if I were to make a list of the things I'm thankful that my dad's done for me (and that would be a long list), one of the items would be familiarizing me with awesome '60s bands.
Adam sent me an article yesterday about how some fans of the show Jericho sent 25 tons of peanuts to CBS to protest its cancellation. I only skimmed it yesterday, but after reading it more carefully today, I saw that the article is talking about how CBS is asking fans of the show to watch it in real time instead of recording it on their DVRs or streaming it on the Internet. Their complaint is that such viewing affects the ratings.
